About Paralift

In September of 1985, Paralift was established for the purpose of hauling skydivers at Perris Valley Airport in Southern California. At that time Paralift had two DC-3s, a Twin Beech, and a turbine powered Otter.

In 1988, a film company by the name of "New World TV" had been looking for a nice silver Twin Beech. Someone had let the company know about Skip's Beech and contact was made. This first job was for the TV series "Crime Story" which was filmed in Las Vegas and the final episode filmed in Alcapulco. This was also the beginning of Paralift Inc. and Skip's film career.

Our portfolio includes Commercials, Music Videos, Feature Films, TV Series, and Static Photo Shoots. Our aircraft have been painted for the look that the directors wanted as in "CON AIR" and "Mulholland Falls". Temporary "Smoke Systems" can be installed to simulate crash scenes as in "Amelia Earhart" and "Mulholland Falls". For a very "special" look, lights were installed on the underside of the DC-3 for the filming of "Honeymoon In Vegas".

Skip Evans, (owner and "stunt pilot") has been a member of SAG since 1985. His credits include over 100 commercials, feature films, photo shoots, and music videos.
